Our Team

Our founders, Dr. Kalpana KV and Ms. Shashikala M S, bring over 30 years of combined experience in special education. Their work spans classroom teaching, curriculum design, specialized research, parent collaboration, and initiatives supporting children from underprivileged communities.

Together, they founded Strenzio to make learning more accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for every child.

Dr. Kalpana KV

Dr. Kalpana , a co-founder of Strenzio, is an educator and child development specialist with over 20 years of experience in special education across India and the United States. 

With a Ph.D. in Human Development and advanced training in Special Education, she brings a research-driven, strength-based approach to supporting children with diverse needs.

Strenzio partners with families to identify each child’s unique abilities and create personalized learning pathways that promote confidence, engagement, and long-term growth.

Shashikala M S

Shashikala M S, a co-founder of Strenzio, and a journalist turned educator, had also founded Adiksha Foundation to champion inclusion for individuals with special needs. 

In 2014, she launched Leap Years, a strength-based learning program supporting children and young adults with autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities - especially from underprivileged communities.

Her work focuses on personalized education, inclusive employment, and empowering parents and caregivers to build a better society.

Nandita R

Project Lead

Nandita R is a software engineer turned special educator with 8+ years of experience addressing diverse developmental needs

After transitioning into special education, she worked with young children with autism, supporting the development of communication, play, self-help, and academic skills.

She brings together strong analytical thinking, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to helping every child grow with confidence.

Soumya Krishnamurthy is a freelance ethnographic researcher and marketing professional with 6+ years of experience.
